The team at Wild Lime held a fashion parade as a fundraiser for the red cross and I was asked to go along. The room was dark and small, but I knew that going into the gig so the plan was to set up 2 sb800's on stands, and bounce them off the ceiling...On arrival I discovered that I had only one sync cord for my Pocket Wizards. So I triggered one SB800 using the PW and the put the other SB800 in SU4 mode and let it slave off the other. The one problem with this is that the SB800 will then fire when ever it see's a flash... even if its not yours!

As my luck would have it there was one other person taking happy snaps and there fore using my light, but I'm pretty easy going and with that SB800 running at 1/8th power there was still plenty of juice and recycle time for me!
So as you can see from my quick little map, I had one SB800 either side of me on stands, which were bouncing off of the ceiling. (thank you for the low white ceilings) There was probably 2-3 meters between the front one and the back one so as to allow 1. better coverage through out the room. and 2. straight away I had one light as more of a key light and the back one being a fill light.
Any way here is a few pics from the night. Camera settings were f5 1/60th @ iso1000
